I recently purchased a graphic novel (aka comic book) and enjoyed it thoroughly, eh. So I drew this while admiring a painting by Alex Ross. This is also thumbing my nose at my HS art teacher, who always insisted you can't shade adequately with a mechanical pencil... All I used on this was a mechanical pencil, and it looks decently shaded to me. *shrugs*

There was some dispute as to this drawing actually being mine (which is pretty cool), so here's some proof
