When the sun would go down on spring nights, I used to open all the windows and turn off all the lights in the house. Then I'd kneel on the couch in my parents living room, peering over the back of it and out the giant picture window where the whole street was a deep shade of blue... I'd kneel there for hours listening to only a select few songs from my collection that would fit that mood. If it had been around then, this song would have been in my rotation on a night like that, and that's the biggest compliment I could ever pay a song.
