sigh.. well the Avs can go out and play golf with the damned Red Wings now. After being up 3-1 in the best of 7 series againt the Wild (who, by the way, are in their first ever post-season experience), the Avs dropped the ball and lost the series 3-4.Now I know most of you reading this page are not big sports fans, so it's hard to explain how it feels when your team loses like this... You have to accept it and move on, but for several days, it feels like inside you're just curled up on the bed staring blankly at the wall, detached from everything.
Yes, I know that sounds crazy and retarded and like I have issues.. but that's what fan means: fanatic. I love the Colorado Avalanche. There are probably 100 other things in life I love more (I'm not that crazy), but I care immensely about the team, none the less.
So, if we could please take a moment of silence to mourn the Avs 2003 Playoff hopes. It will be missed.
