Man.. I'm just posting out the butt today...Goal Post: The Detroit Redwings, the team that--other than Avalanche fans
*--it seems everybody loves, is currently losing their first round best-of-seven series against the lowly Mighty Ducks three games to none. Yes, that's 3-0.. as in, if the Ducks win one more game of the next 4, the Red Wings will no longer be participating in this years glorious play-offs.
*The Avalanche and Red Wings have what's commonly referred to as the Best Rivalry in Sports Today, which started in 1995/1996 when the Avs, on their way to winning Lord Stanley's Cup, knocked off the Wings after the Wing's record breaking regular season, during which they won 63 out of 82 games.. an unheard of accomplishment. Since then every meeting has been grit, pain, and grace... all the things that make hockey the best sport in the world.
