*HOCKEY POST*
The
NHL picks 3 players each day that stood out and made the differences in the game they played. Since the regular season just ended, the total's are in and 3 Avalanche players are in the top 10 for total times picked;
Peter Forsberg is #1 with 240 times this year;
Milan Hejduk is #6 with 170; and the great
Patrick Roy is #10 with 130 picks.
Keep in mind there are 30 teams, about 23 players on each team... so to have 3 players in the top 10 is quite a good ratio if I do say so myself.
Also, I think from now on I'll refer to hockey posts as "GOAL POST"*s, because that will seem witty.
* A goal post is what they call the vertical metal poles on either side of the net. The horizontal pole across the top is referred to as the crossbar.
